When we fall short, we say so clearly and fix it quickly.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/header>\n\t\t<div class=\"pf-policy__body\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2>How We Handle Errors<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>We correct the original article, add a clearly labeled correction note explaining what was wrong and what is correct, and date the correction. We do not silently alter factual errors.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Types of Changes<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Corrections<\/strong> address factual errors and identify both the original error and the accurate information.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Clarifications<\/strong> add context when published information was technically accurate but could reasonably be misunderstood.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Updates<\/strong> add facts that changed or became available after publication. Substantial updates are labeled and dated.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Retractions<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Retractions are rare and reserved for work whose central premise is wrong or that should not have been published. The page will be clearly labeled and replaced with an explanation.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2>How to Request a Correction<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Email <a href=\"mailto:news@paperfoldsnews.com\">news@paperfoldsnews.com<\/a> with the article title or URL, the information you believe is inaccurate, and any supporting documentation.
