Tipton County recorded 41 new business licenses in July 2026, according to filings with the Tipton County Clerk’s Office and the City of Covington.<\/p>\n
Thirty-six businesses registered directly with the county, and five additional businesses appear only on the City of Covington’s municipal license list. Munford again led the county with the number of new licenses, followed closely by Covington and Brighton.<\/p>\n
The month’s filings reflect a broad mix of trades and services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Construction and contracting<\/strong> made up one of the largest clusters, including Featherstone Homebuilders and Tom Arnold Construction Company, along with specialty trades such as Big River Fence and Gates, AV Sheetmetal, Architectural Millwork Solutions, and JBS Management Group. Landscaping and lawn care<\/strong> were also well represented, with Grind Works, Southern Edge Property Services, Woodlawn Lawn Care Services, and Tipton Yard and Fence Services all registering new licenses.<\/p>\n Food and beverage<\/strong> businesses accounted for several new licenses, led by Hatchie River Bar & Grill and Sake vs Tekila in Covington, Sharks Fish & Chicken’s new Covington location, Gather and Graze catering, Double D’s Mobile food truck, and The Sno Cottage snow cone stand. Home-based and personal services<\/strong> made up another significant share, including residential cleaning businesses AlanaKayCleaning and Gaines Cleaning Services, home care providers BCWL Health, Eliz Home Care and Transport, and Renee Adult Care, and several notary and drafting services. Automotive businesses<\/strong> also opened their doors, including 312 Diesel and Automotive, Icon Repair Solutions, Parrots Car Wash, and Top Notch Tinting, alongside professional and retail ventures such as J&S Consulting, Taylor Elite Tax Service, Curated furniture, and Rustic Rebel Sales antiques.<\/p>\n The following addresses are on Millington’s mail route, but are physically located within Tipton County.<\/em><\/p>\n Starting a new business?
