Covington mayoral candidate Chad Smith greeted voters Monday morning with a pop-up campaign stop and will follow it with a meet and greet Tuesday evening.
Smith’s campaign handed out biscuits and coffee to go from 6 to 7:30 a.m. Monday in the parking lot at Property Place, 204 US 51 S in Covington, under a banner reading “Breakfast with Chad.”
Smith, who works at Property Place, is a candidate for Covington mayor. Both events are part of his campaign outreach ahead of the municipal election.
On Tuesday, Aug. 11, Smith will hold a meet and greet at the Covington Country Club.
The event is hosted by Sen. Paul and Nancy Rose, Jason and Deanna Hughey, Scott and Angie Davis, J.T. “Pancho” and Lisa Chumley, Nic and Amber Shaw, Donna Turner, Kevin and Tammy Gay, Keith and Tiny Phelps, Danny and Ruth Ann Wallace, Jeff and Cindy Morris, Oliver and Camille Smith, Erik and Kate Krull, Chris and Sara Gangaware, Amanda Newcomb, and J. Houston and Debbie Gordon.
It will take place from 6-8 p.m.
